The objective of the Music Minds studio is to offer individually tailored lessons for all students, developing technique, performance and artistry through the whole person.

Recognising the potential for music learning to complement curricular studies, the studio’s pedagogic philosophy recognises the needs of the whole individual; socially, emotionally and creatively.
Students are encouraged as independent and confident artists through technique, repertoire and musicianship. Acknowledging individual learning styles, lessons aim to develop musical identity and build performance skills through a variety of genres and contexts.

The studio offers specialist education and teaching in the following areas:
Voice Training
Offering beginning to advanced individual lessons in classical, contemporary or music theatre voice. Lessons focus on developing the solid foundations of technique, quality of tone and artistry through a variety of styles (Ages 10+).
Coaching Opportunities
The studio also offers coaching and direction for choirs, vocal bands and musicals on a guest or ongoing basis. Private tuition for VCE Music Performance and Drama subjects is also offered on request (Primary & Secondary Students).
Music Theatre
Individual lessons focused on the music theatre genre, designed for aspiring young performers. Foci include stylistic development for classical and contemporary theatre styles, text interpretation, acting and storytelling (Ages 10+).
Teacher Resources & Links
An expanding network of resources, activities and links for use in the primary and secondary music classroom or to enhance vocal/choral learning (Primary & Secondary Students).
Musicianship & Ear Training
Tailored tuition for students wishing to improve their aural and sight reading skills. Ideal for students undertaking AMEB, Trinity Guildhall or VCE Music Performance examinations (Upper-primary & Secondary Students).
